apartment in the historic center? Being on the fifth floor lifts you above a good deal of the street
noise, and any that might be left is a small price to pay for being in the center of Rome itself,
literally walking distance from the Tiber river and some of the best destinations in the city.
This apartment is located in the historic center of Rome, about 400 meters south of the Piazza
Navona, and just 2 minutes' walk from the Piazza Campo dei Fiori. This area lies between the
Tiber and the Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. It contains some of the most important historic
buildings in Rome, including the Acrea Sacra del Largo Argentina, Chancery Palace, the Palazzo
Farnese, the Capella del Monte di Pieta, and the Pantheon. The apartment itself is a
fifteen-minute walk from the nearest underground station, Spagna. Nearby you will also find
stops for the ATAC bus lines 40, 46, 62, 64, 70, 190, 571, and 916, as well as the electric bus
lines 116 and 116T, and tram line 8. You can reach Termini train station by taking bus 70 from
Largo Argentina; it takes about 10 minutes.
The narrow streets around Campo dei Fiori contain simple houses and austere noble palaces
standing side by side in quiet, unassuming lanes. This apartment is located on the top floor
(fifth) of a well-located 18th century building. There is an elevator.
