to as the "Platinum Coast," St. James is known for having the calmest seas, the safest waters, and the
softest sand. Many fun, interesting, and celebratory festivals are held throughout the year around the
island, including the renowned Hometown Festival in February, which consists of fashion shows, street
parades, live concerts, theatrical performances, and much more! Barbados is also a great place for the
shopper, especially in the capital of Bridgetown. Broad Street has department stores, duty free shops,
and other specialty boutiques whereas Pelican Village is a charming and picturesque outdoor center full
of restaurants, art galleries, and craft stores. The island is very lively and has plenty of opportunities to
play any kind of water sport, go golfing, and visit museums, all which allow you to make your schedule

beds (which can be connected upon prior request) and an en suite bathroom with a shower.
